About Contact
Originally from southeastern France on the shores of the Mediterranean, Pierre studied product design there, briefly passing through Italy and the Politecnico di Milano.
His path continued in Belgium, in Brussels, where he felt the need to enter the world of joinery and cabinetmaking to better understand the manufacture of the furniture he was already designing at the time.
This was followed by five years' experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he deepened his knowledge of woodworking and was exposed to new types of wood and skills that were unknown to him at the time.
Based in Brussels, Pierre Granier offers a collection of furniture that reflects the influences of the various cultures that have been part of his life, and pieces that are both durable and functional, while taking environmental issues into account.
While taking up the challenge of reuse, there's also the desire to work with materials locally and to find a use for offcuts made in the workshop to minimize loss and waste.
